In the Room
Very nice hotel but lists as a spa but the spa is closed on Mondays. We were on a long road trip (3500kms) and were really looking forward to a spa break...should have been noted in the hotel details.
very friendly and customer minded hotel. Hotel hasa lot of potential to grow as it has all the facilities.
rooms are very basic and functional but are missing some character. booked a deluxe room but this has no view at all. Upgraded to a junior suite which was larger but to my opinion not really a junior suite The swimming pool is very small and located at the entrance of the hotel close to the highway. Limited numbers of chairs. For me this is a ****L instead of a ***** hotel.
As we were alone at the hotel, with I believe only one member of staff, it was new, beautiful, but a bit isolated
Isolated and extremely quiet - not a problem, but as we only stayed one night, maybe unfair to comment
Close to motorway; view of sunset and countryside. Fascinating close-up view of storks' nests on poles with sound effects. We suggest this is best suited to a single overnight stop en route, but at a cost.
Facilities very limited in this apparently deserted hotel. Swimming pool closed indefinitely, restaurant opening days limited. Room small and lacking chairs and space for hanging. Huge car park, ours the only car - felt slightly spooky. Extortionate charge for Internet - really it was an extra room charge, payable per day, as every other hotel we have used offers free Internet (even the budget ones).
Staff were really helpful and friendly, and facilities beautiful
The ease of access to the motorway
This is supposed to be a 5* hotel, it definately IS NOT. The only food on offer in the evening was a sandwich, no restaurant open or even a hot snack on offer. Too much money spent on the decor not enough attention paid to customer service.
Everything was really nice: wonderfull hotel: hudge room high level of service highly recommended !!
The swimming pool is a bit small and the surrounging a bit cheap
English version of the menu is interesting, never sure what is going to arrive.
The spa is not included in the price. Forthermore we had to pay for the swimming caps. The opening hours are not guestfriendly.
We arrived 1 day late (24hr ferry delay) and were given a very warm welcome by Mikel and Lidia Barba at reception. The room Lidia gave us was superb - very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was very good value. Caceres town centre is a very short drive away (well worth a visit), and being on the outskirts, the hotel was easy to find. Free parking was a bonus. The "forest" of occupied stork nests on the approach to the hotel was an amazing sight.
Excellent service, great value for money. Staff is very nice, thoughtfull and helpfull.
Restaurant closed. Wifi too expensive and no reception in bedroom.
The staff was very professional and friendly. All lovely persons
The spa and interior pool was closed. They had no termometer for body temperature in the 1st aid kit
the spa complex
when we arrived ,we were not told the restaurant was closed ,even though the menu was outside the restaurant,no atmosphere drinks were very expensive, and is near main roads but a taxi away from the town
Is not included breakfest and no internet
